Employee Assistance Service for Education - EASE

Counseling Services for Individuals
EASE provides confidential counseling, phone consultations, and community referrals for ERUSD employees and their families.
EASE counselors specialize in:
- family troubles
- emotional distress
- drug/alcohol problems
- job anxieties and stress
- grief, loss, and life transitions
EASE is primarily an assessment and brief counseling service that focuses on early support. Counselors work with employees, supervisors, and labor representatives to identify concerns and offer proactive help.
EASE is not a replacement for your health-care plan, but it is a helpful and effective extension of your existing benefits.
🌿 EASE Wellness Spotlight: Nourish to Flourish
As the school year moves into one of its most demanding stretches, the March Connect with EASE newsletter focuses on strengthening energy, resilience, and overall well-being. This month’s theme, “Nourish to Flourish,” encourages educators and staff to think about how everyday choices can support both physical and emotional health.
Nutrition is more than fuel—it influences focus, mood, immunity, and long-term well-being. Small, sustainable habits can help staff maintain steady energy and resilience during busy school weeks.
Consider incorporating these wellness practices this month:
- Prioritize balanced meals that include protein, fiber, and healthy fats
- Add colorful fruits and vegetables to support immune health
- Stay hydrated throughout the day to improve focus and reduce fatigue
- Practice mindful eating during at least one meal or snack each day
These simple habits can help support concentration, patience, and overall wellness during a busy school year.
