The El Rancho Unified School District provides a competitive benefits package to all eligible employees that include options best suited to their needs and the needs of their families.

The insurance benefits, wellness programs, retirement plan choices, and other services offered are a sizable amount of an employee’s overall compensation and important factors in encouraging a healthy work-life balance at ERUSD, all to ensure a proper balance.

All full-time employees at El Rancho Unified School District may be eligible to enroll in the following benefits:
  • Medical insurance
  • Dental & Vision coverage
  • Life insurance
Part-time employees may be eligible for benefits depending on their hire date and assignment.  Contact the Insurance & Benefits Office for more information.
2023 CalPERS Open Enrollment Dates
September 19, 2022 - October 14, 2022
Open Enrollment for Voluntary Benefits will occur after October 14th
**NOTICE** CalPERS PEPRA members (those who became a PERS member on or after 01/01/2013) will have their Employee Contribution rate increased from 7.00% to 8.00% starting on their July 2022 payroll.  PERS Members hired before 2013 will remain at 7.00%.  See circular letter from CalPERS below.
