Cash for College Workshop

Where: El Rancho High School Library
When: Saturday, December 9, 2017
Time: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Financial aid experts and volunteers will be available to assist families with completing the FAFSA, CA Dream Act application, Cal Grant GPA verification form, and/or CHAFEE Grant application. Learn about scholarships, AB 540 and resources for students who are undocumented or have DACA status.

This event is available for all high school seniors or college students who need assistance applying for financial aid. Appointments are not necessary. Parents are welcome to attend with their students.

Please bring with you:
- Parents 2016 taxes
- Student and parent(s) full names
- Student and parent(s) social security numbers
- Student and parent(s) dates of birth
- Email address and password for student and one parent

Our Shared Grief on the Tragedy in Las Vegas

Words cannot express our shared grief over the senseless and horrific tragedy that occurred recently in Las Vegas. We join together in sending our thoughts and prayers to the victims and their loved ones.

If you need guidance on how to help children cope with this tragedy, please do not hesitate to contact your Principal, School Counselor, Mental Health Counselor and/or School Psychologist. The District has staff available to provide support services at any time. For additional resources on talking to children about violence and addressing grief and loss, click on the links below.

The El Rancho Unified School District reaffirms its commitment that our schools are “safe havens” for our students and families. We will continue to provide a world-class education daily for our students on a safe and orderly campus.

New Phone Numbers Come to El Rancho Unified

The El Rancho Unified District is pleased to announce the implementation of the VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) telephone system for all schools and district offices. The goal of the VoIP implementation was to improve communication, avoid obsolescence and to be cost-effective.

With the new phone system come new numbers. Please note all phone numbers in the District have changed. Please begin to use the new phone numbers immediately.

Advisory: There will be a temporary traffic disruption along Beverly Road between Rosemead Avenue and Sandoval Avenue from September 11, 2017 through September 15, 2017. This is necessary to facilitate frontage improvements for North Park Academy of the Arts.
