Protecting Your Child’s Health

By encouraging your children to wash their hands, you can help prevent the spread of flu, sicknesses, and other infections. Handwashing at any time of the day can help get rid of germs. Germs can get into the body through our eyes, nose, and mouth and make us sick. Handwashing with soap removes germs from hands and helps prevent sickness. For more information, visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at https://www.cdc.gov/.

It allows us to support principals, highlight successes, and share best practices across the District.
