Accessing your Child's State Test Scores

To generate your child's electronic student score report, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your parent portal account
2. Under the "Test Scores" tab, click on "State Test Scores Report"
3. In the box titled "CAASPP" click on "2019" for the most recent scores

If you have not set up your parent portal account or are having difficulty accessing your parent portal account, please contact your child's school office for assistance.

Immigration Forum Scheduled

Do you have questions about an immigration topic?

Congresswoman Linda Sanchez will be hosting an Immigration Community Forum at the Montebello Senior Center on August 20, 2019. During the event, Congresswoman Sanchez will provide an update on immigration policy, a US Citizenship and Immigration Services officer will provide a presentation on benefits and petitions; including citizenship, LPR renewals, DACA renewals, and family-based petition. A US Citizenship and Immigration Services officer will also be available to answer any case specific questions. All information will be available in English and Spanish.

The Governing Board of the El Rancho Unified School District has selected Hazard, Young, Attea and Associates (HYA) Executive Search Services as its consultant to assist the Board in its search for a new superintendent.

The Board wishes to extend an invitation to all members of the community to meet with HYA adviser Dr. Carmella Franco to gather input on the selection of the next superintendent.

Free Summer Meal Program

The City of Pico Rivera in conjunction with the California Department of Education and USDA Summer Food Services Program will offer free nutritional meals to youth ages 18 years and younger. The program will run for 9 weeks from June - August. Meals are served Monday - Friday on a first come, first serve basis. Meals must be eaten on site. The program is subject to State funding. USDA is an equal opportunity provider and employer.

A draft of the district Local Control and Accountability Plan is available in the “About Us” section, or you may review it at the Business Services Office at 8910 East Slauson Avenue weekdays from June 7-17, 2019 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. You may submit written comments regarding the specific actions and expenditures proposed in the LCAP to the Superintendent’s Office no later than 4:00 p.m. on June 17th. This transportation program is not sponsored, affiliated with, or endorsed by the Boys and Girls Club or Whittier nor the El Rancho Unified School District.

Contract with HPLE Terminated

Effective May 20, 2019, High Performance Learning Environments’ (HPLE) contract is considered terminated. HPLE voluntarily submitted a letter of resignation on May 17, and the District responded on May 20 confirming termination of the District’s agreement with HPLE, subject to board ratification. Upon board ratification, the agreement will be terminated without cause or penalty; the District has requested that HPLE return all applicable records, software, and plans within fourteen days. The Office of the Superintendent is working with the District’s legal counsel to prepare and publish a Request for Qualifications/Request for Proposals (RFQ/RFP) for construction management services in order to ensure the Measure ER bond construction program remains a high-quality, on-schedule and on-budget project.

Public Health Advisory – Measles Outbreak

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has issued a measles outbreak advisory as they are investigating a number of reports of measles. These include local outbreaks of confirmed cases within Los Angeles County. Public Health urges residents who have not been fully immunized against measles to contact their healthcare provider to get fully immunized in order to better protect their individual health and to prevent the spread of measles to others.
