Girls Who Code 🖥️

Girls Who Code offers two FREE programs in the summer: the virtual Summer Immersion Program and the Self-Paced Program.

Students can choose their summer adventure based on their passions, skill level, and schedule:
  • The Summer Immersion Program (SIP) teaches 9th-11th grade girls and non-binary students how to design their own games using p5.js, a JavaScript library for creative coding. Beginner to intermediate coders learn in live virtual classrooms hosted by industry-leading companies like MetLife, Bank of America, Logitech, and Synchrony.
  • The Self-Paced Program is for 9th-12th grade girls and non-binary students looking for the flexibility to learn at their own pace. Beginner to advanced coders can explore courses in three exciting tracks: Web Development, Cybersecurity, and – new for 2024! –  Data Science + AI.

Apply here to level up your coding skills, kickstart your future, and have fun along the way. Early decision applications are due February 14 for priority consideration. Regular decision applications are due March 22. Learn more with our  program flyer (see below),  webinars , or  FAQs

Remember to select El Rancho Unified School District from the dropdown menu when asked about your Community Partner affiliation on the application.
