The mission of the El Rancho Unified School District is to provide each and every student with a nurturing and safe environment that challenges and supports them to perform at high levels, and at the same time, prepares them to be ready to function in society as a global citizen.

How Do We Enact the Strategic Plan?
The Strategic Plan provides the framework that will guide the work of the El Rancho Unified School District. It is a shared responsibility between the Board of Education, the Superintendent, all administrators, teachers, staff, students, families, and the community. The goals of the Strategic Plan will inform the development and evaluation of the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP). The LCAP will then inform the development of the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA). All these three levels of work respond to the need for alignment and coherence across the system. Our quest to become a high performing school district will ensure that there is organizational clarity from the policy making level to the Central Office administration to the school sites.
