Magee Academy is ready for the Solar Eclipse!
Dear parents and guardians,
On Monday, August 21, 2017, from 9:05 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. (PST), North America will experience a solar eclipse. California will only see a partial eclipse that will peak at 10:21 a.m.
To minimize the likelihood that students will look directly at the sun and risk damaging their eyes, all outdoor activities between 9:00-1:00 PM will be indoors. During this time, we will maximize the learning opportunities that the eclipse provides by participating in the event via live streaming, videos or other lesson plans.
