NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FOR RESOLUTION ADOPTING CERTAIN FINDINGS AND APPROVING AMENDMENT #1 TO THE EXISTING ENERGY SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH PACIFICWEST ENERGY SOLUTIONS, INC.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Government Code section 4217.10 et seq. that the El Rancho Unified School District ("District”) Board of Education shall hold a public hearing at its regularly scheduled meeting on November 7, 2023, at 6:30 PM for the purpose presenting certain findings, taking public comment, and approving a Resolution adopting the findings and approving an Amendment #1 (“Amendment”) to the existing Energy Services Agreement (“ESA”) with PacificWest Energy Solutions, Inc. (“Contractor”) for the implementation of certain energy related improvements to District facilities consisting of HVAC, building controls, and other potential CALSHAPE grant improvements. The ESA was originally entered into by the District pursuant to a separate Government Code 4217.10 finding made in the Summer of 2022 for the original scope of work proposed by the Contractor. The Board’s proposed findings for the Amendment shall document how the cost to the District to implement certain additional energy related improvements contemplated by the Amendment to the ESA will be less than the anticipated marginal cost to the District of electrical or other energy that would have been consumed by the District if the improvements contemplated by the Amendment to the ESA are not completed and the Amendment is not entered into by the District. The public hearing shall be conducted on November 7, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at: PICO RIVERA CITY HALL, Pico Rivera, CA 90660.
